Ladle is built by Surge Studios LLC. If you have a question about your data or this policy, email us at hi@ladle.kitchen.

Account information such as your email address and sign-in identifiers when you create an account.

Content you create, including recipes you save, weekly plans, grocery lists, and pantry items.

Device and diagnostic information, such as a device identifier and basic crash or performance data, collected only if you opt in.

We use your information to provide the service, sync your content across your devices, and improve the product.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it to target ads.

Your content is stored in Google Firebase Firestore in a United States region.

Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat.

Google Firebase: hosting, authentication, and database for your content.

RevenueCat: subscription and billing state.

Google Gemini: AI processing for recipe parsing and image analysis.

Pexels: stock food photography used as placeholder imagery.

Recipe URLs and pasted text are sent to Google Gemini to parse them into structured recipes.

Photos used in snap-a-meal or fridge scan are sent for analysis and are not retained beyond the request.

Parsing caches are anonymous and may be shared across users to speed up common imports.

You can access, export, and delete your data. To make a request, email hi@ladle.kitchen and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA.

Ladle is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 in the EU and the UK. We do not knowingly collect data from children below these ages.

We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes we will notify you in the app.
