Frequently asked questions

Ladle is a meal-planning app for people who save recipes from all over. It pulls a recipe in from a link, a photo, or a video, turns your week into a plan, and builds a grocery list sorted by aisle. Optional macro tracking is there if you want it.

Share a TikTok, an Instagram post, or a web link to Ladle, or paste it in. Ladle reads the video or page, pulls out the ingredients and steps, and saves a clean recipe you can edit. You can also scan a cookbook page or snap a meal you ate.

Yes. Guest mode keeps your data on your device. Sign in when you want it to sync across your phone, your tablet, and future devices.

You can delete your account and all of its data from inside the app, in your account settings. You can also email support@ladle.kitchen from the address on your account to request deletion, and we will take care of it.

Macros are optional and off by default. Turn them on and Ladle shows protein, carbs, and fat as plain numbers, and it can plan your week around a target you set. There is no scoring and no judgment, just the figures.

Email hi@ladle.kitchen with the link or a screenshot, plus a short note on what happened. The import details help us fix the parser faster.
